The Palugaw para sa Masa Program is part of the Social Alleviation Program of the City to address hunger and malnutrition. It is available during events and programs in the city like parades and marathons. It also serves as one of the immediate responses to the victims of calamities, fire and drought. Schools, NGOs, Barangays, Individuals and other groups can also avail of the program by requesting to the Office of the City Mayor. The Palugaw para sa Masa is made available everyday at Rizal Park every 4:00 in the afternoon. Most of the beneficiaries are grade school students from nearby schools.
